Bio: Singer-Songwriter-Pianist, born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Tim Toishi is of half Japanese and half Chinese descent and has been brought up in a musical family. He has been classically trained in piano since the age of 6, and also has experience with the violin and guitar. As he matured, his interest in singing and songwriting developed and currently has numerous original songs that he performs during live gigs. In university, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music with a minor in Japanese. Tim currently works as a piano instructor, performs regularly around Toronto, and is currently working on his demo. Tim will be releasing many of his works on his YouTube channel. Place: EL MOCAMBO (464 Spadina Avenue, Toronto, Ontario)
JCSA, JAVA, and Japanada will be throwing another Halloween party this year. All the profits will be donated to the JCCC’s Earthquake Relief Fund, so please check it out.
Last year, over 500 people came. This year, we’ve dropped ticket prices so the party can be even bigger! We will have DJs, dancing, and a costume contest that anyone can enter.
This is a 19+ event so please bring your ID.
Ticket Price: $15 at the door

Japanese Chefs Cook to Help Orphans in Japan
Come join us for a celebration of global community spirit through delicious food specially prepared for this event by Japanese chefs from the GTA area! Each chef will have his or her own yatai or booth to offer a dish. All proceeds will go to help children who were orphaned by earthquakes and the tsunami earlier this year in Japan.
